AGARTALA, March 18 (TIWN): Amid political blame games, teachers’ hospitalized was the most naked display of intolerance and extreme immature leadership of the BJP Govt under Biplab Deb, proving why the Left existed in Tripura for long 25 years. Under Manik Sarkar’s time from IPFT’s road blockade to SAA’s hunger strike all were handled with care but at the very beginning of protests, Biplab Deb has displayed immaturity, slammed by all opposition leaders, infact all sections of teachers regardless political identity.Many 10323 teachers have been beaten by police, lathi-charged upon them under order of Home Department.Report and record of state’s history say that this is the first ever incident as teachers were never treated in this way earlier.In Manik Sarkar Govt’s time SSA to 10323 teachers all staged protests, but the then Govt never had taken such inhuman and brutal step to end the protest, proving BJP is an intolerant Govt.

Earlier unemployed youths were also arrested in same way, whereas no Govt caused such attacks on its people like this.

Question raised, after such an incident has Education Minister Ratanlal Nath any right to continue his position as Education Minister ?
