AGARTALA/AIZAWL, March 18 (TIWN): The Tripura government on Monday announced holiday in all educational institutions, including Anganwadi centres, and ordered closure of cinema halls, gymnasiums and swimming pools till March 31 to arrest the spread of coronavirus. However, government offices will remain open.
Talking to the media, chief secretary Manoj Kumar said though there is no case of Covid-19 in Tripura so far, the state government has decided to undertake additional measures to contain the chances of the spread of coronavirus. He added that the state government has put ban on seminars, workshops and all such kinds of gatherings. However, the board exams would continued as per schedule.
