AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, top MLAs have visited Mohanpur victim’s home who was brutally murdered after rape on March 12.

MLA Tapan Chakraborty, Sudhan Das, Badal Chowdhury also visited along with Manik Sarkar.

After meeting the family, visiting the incident’s spot where the girl was found burnt, Manik Sarkar said that the level of terror of the incident needs not to be explained further in this case.

“Who did this, why did it happen…….everyone wants to know. The only solution is police’s neutral investigation. This accused person was very known to the family. The family is so poor that the girl’s B.Ed degree’s dream remained pending”, said Manik Sarkar.

Manik Sarkar also visited the Police station and talked to top police officials.
