AGARTALA, March 15 (TIWN): In a major blow for the BJP’s ally IPFT, around 2300 of its activists have joined Congress party today in the presence Congress State President Pijush Biswas, leader Subal Bhowmik, Rajeswar Debbarma and others.

Newly joined members said that their joining Congress is due to massive frustration against BJP and IPFT’s misruling, infighting and money minded mentality of the IPFT leaders.

Top leaders including Central Committee members, Secretary of subdivisions have joined Congress, said Rajeswar Debbarma.
