AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar has slammed the BJP Govt over deteriorating law and order situations in the state, saying, 22 years old girl’s murder incident has crossed Hyderabad’s Priyanka Reddy’s murder episode.
Addressing media, Prabita Kar said, “People are losing trust on the Police force day by day. Police don’t have any seriousness with the case investigation giving space to the criminals backed by BJP”.
“In 22 years old girl’s murder case, only one man was detained, whereas nothing clear about arrest. Local people claimed about rape and then burning alive incident. Thus, it is more horrifying than Priyanka Reddy’s case, who was shot with a gun”, said Pabitra Kar.
“Mohanpur area has turned a death zone. Nobody has safety at there. Whether Home Minister has right to continue the post it’s a matter of concern”, Kar told media.
“One after one incidents are taking place but CM and his party are celebrating 2 years of Govt formation”, he added.
