AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, March 13 (TIWN): 20 bedded diagnostic centre has been organized in the IGM hospital, one of the top Govt hospitals in Tripura.
Talking to media, a medical officer said that treatment to be available in Hapania’s TMC Hospital and also in IGM hospital.
“IGM is the diagnostic centre in Tripura, which is one of the 52 diagnostic centres in India. In Tripura this is the first diagnostic centre. The people who are coming from other countries where Corona-Virus outbreak reported or those who are in connect with others they will be kept in quarantine. However, till now nobody was found infected with this disease, whereas 3 persons are reportedly to come for checkup, but till now haven’t come. Next there will be District wise Diagnostic centres but those information can be known from District Magistrates in better way for now”, said the medical officer.
India is temporarily suspending almost all travel visas starting Friday as part of its efforts to contain the COVID-19 pandemic that has infected more than 118,000 people worldwide and killed over 4,200.
