AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): Assam Rifles organised *Know Your Army Mela* at Government Degree College, Santirbazar, District South on 12 March 2020.

Know your Army Mela  aimed  at spreading  awerness about   the Armed forces and their role in the various aspects of society. It also aimed at motivating  students and younger generation to join Army by giving them an opportunity to serve the nation and providing a good professional career ahead.

Know Your Army Mela was attended by  a total no. of  180 students, and 12 staff. The event was phased into motivational lecture followed by Wpn display and promotional videos on Life in  Army and Assam Rifles. Also, Refreshments were provided for uplift  the morale of students.

This humane and motivational gesture was well appreciated by the student , locals and the state administrations.
