KADAMTALA, March 12 (TIWN): Churaibari Police has arrested one smuggler who was carrying 26 packets of ganja for smuggling.

SP North Bhanupada Chakraborty said that this is a huge success for the Police.

Reportedly, getting informed by secret sources, Churabari Police have arrested one person with huge amount of cannabis at around 12 O’Clock.

The vehicle was seized at Churaibari drop gate area led by OC-Jayanta Das and SDPO rajib Siutradhar.

The vehicle bearing number Tr03-1567 was carrying those ganja which was actually an oil tanker vehicle.

Total 315 KG of ganja was seized. The vehicle driver Abhijit Sarkar (29), S/O-Ajit Sarkar has been arrested.

The arrested person is a resident of Trisha Bari area under Teliamura PS.
