AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M has started fund collection for riot hit national capital Delhi victims, where over 50 persons have lost their lives and huge numbers of common men were injured severely. Many are still hospitalized.
Addressing media, during the fund collection, Manik Sarkar said that the amount does not matter but the people of Tripura are with the victims of the national capital and that sympathy matters. He said, it is a gesture of humanity and standing beside the riot victim persons.
Enthusiasm was observed among public during the collection to help the Delhi people and it was also witnessed that common men from tea seller to officer all are aware about the unfortunate incident happened in Delhi.
Manik Sarkar also hit the Govt, said, Govt’s role was not satisfactory enough which was expected.
He accused the ruling BJP Govt for created chaos in country by modifying law of secularism in India by CAA.
Sarkar said, to attack on the peaceful CAA protest, this incident was conducted.
