AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): In a major embarrassing outcome of Tripura High Court Bar Association Election for the BJP, the “Save Constitution Forum” candidates have won Important Posts in total, defeating the BJP.

The final results was Sankar Kumar Deb won the President post, Secretary - Pranabasish Majumder, Assistant Secretary - Sougata Datta (Tie).

Thus total 6 seats the “Save Constitution” forum has won whereas BJP won 5 seats : 1. Vice President- Haradhan Sarkar, 2. Assistant Secretary – Sumit Debnath (Tie)

The members from each group elected are : 1. Saikat Saha, 2. Sagar Banik, 3. Kawsik Nath, 4) Riya Chakraborty, 5) Dipa Sengupata, 6) Pradyot Maishan, 7) Rajib Saha.

On February 23^rd, BJP lost in Tripura Bar Association Election. 

However BJP said that it is their victory as they won 7 and opposition penal won 6 and that Bar will belong to BJP only.
