AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): In an order passed by Tripura High Court, State Govt’s politically motivated transfer order of jailer was scrapped.
High Court Chief Justice Akhil Abdulhamid Kureshi has passed the order on Wednesday in a verdict.
Reportedly, former CPI-M Minister Badal Chowdhury was in jail custody in a PWD construction work related case investigation and few media reported that jailer Bela Chowdhury gave him extra facility and State Govt following those reports transferred him.
Challenging the order, Jailer Bela Chowdhury went to the court and thus the verdict came in his favour.
Throughout Badal Chowdhury’s issue, BJP Govt transferred, even suspended many officials.
