AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): Two BJP MLAs Ram Prasad Pal, MLA Asish Saha in Agartala led a massive rally, followed by a deputation to the AMC Mayor Prafullajit Sinha.

Although Mayor is in power, but Biplab Deb led Govt is imposing one after one inhuman decisions on the common men.

Last the Govt served notices asking the public on river Howrah Bank to leave the places. Ram Prasad Pal is local of Bordowali, whereas  Asish Saha is the MLA there.

While addressing media Asish Saha said, “Since last few days, Govt under AMC is taking inhuman steps in the name of development. We are not against development but in the name of development, no torture will be tolerated”.

“For long 40 years they are staying here. In Gol Bazar people who are in business for decades, are evicted. Then taxes are imposed at huge amount. Water tax went highest ever. No development is happening in towns and now asking shopkeepers to leave the spots. Thus, we will not allow any such inhuman activity further. We have meeting with the AMC Mayor now”, said Aish Saha.
