AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): In bench of Justice Arindam Lodh, Tripura’s former Chief Secretary Y.P.Singh’s bail petition’s verdict was postponed till March 12.
On March 12, Justice Arindam Lodh will pronounce the final verdict about his bail.
On the other side, on 7th March in lower court Y.P.Singh will be produced after Jail custody.
Y.P.Singh was arrested from UP in an alleged politically motivated case. Two more persons : 1) Former Minister Badal Chowdhury, 2) Former Chief Engineer Sunil Bhowmik were also arrested and now in bail.
The case is all about 2008’s construction work, although no personal cash-exchange could be proven by police.Infact no chargesheet could be submitted which led Badal Chowdhury’s bail after 87 days of Police, Jail Custody.
