AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): In two different locations, trucks have killed two pedestrians in Tripura.

At South Bishalgarh town, one 48 years man named Satyajit Roy was smashed by a truck which was coming towards Agartala. Reportedly, Satyajit died on spot. He was resident of Padmabhill Sarkar Para. Lumding resident Nazrul Islam, who was driving the car, was  arrested after the incident.

In another separate incident, one Dilapati Tripura (41) died in road accident after a truck hit her in Shankar Math area in Belonia. She was a resident of Shivpur village, a daily worker. While crossing the road to bring drinking water, a truck hit her, left spot dead.
