AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): 10323 teachers have sat in protest at City Centre, Agartala. The teachers said that they didn’t want to sit in protest and hoping that this will be their last protest and Govt will take care of their pending issues and demands.

Amulaya Debbarma, one of the 10323 teachers said that there are lots of press conferences have done by Education Minister Ratanlal Nath but he never put any comment about 10323 teachers and without cabinet decision, his personal statements can’t be valued.

Also jobs for the family members of 10323 teachers who passes away were demanded. The teachers explained how in starvation, those 50 teachers’ families are now living.

“It is Govt’s duty to help the teachers families. Those families are today starving without food. Govt must provide die-in-harness jobs to the family members immediately”, said 10323 teachers.
