AGARTALA, Feb 18 (TIWN): Local newspapers have accused BJP woman leader Soma's son Tanay as drug-smuggler.
On yesterday two drug smugglers were arrested by East Agartala PS, whereas local people of Nathpara in Chandrapur reportedly said that total 3 persons were handed-over to police but police were trying to save Soma's son Tanay.
Allegedly police under huge pressure and not taking action against Tanay. Moreover, it took 3 hours for police to reach East Agartala PS from Nathpara and in the middle she took her son from the vehicle.
The two drug smugglers who were arrested by East Agartala Police after getting information from local sources with around 250 yaba tablets were detained from Chandrapur, Agartala. Police informed that the local people first caught them and kept them detained, handed-over to police. The two drug smugglers are Priyotosh Biwas, Suman Sarkar.
But local newspaper reports and also local people alleged they handed-over 3 persons but only two were shown arrested.
