AGARTALA, Feb 15 (TIWN): A 3 months 11 days old baby died in Tripura after in a Govt hospital it was vaccinated, alleged parents.

The father of the baby Khokon Tripura, resident of Rampada ADC village, Sonamura said, “After my baby was born on December 5, 2020, Doctors asked me to bring my baby after 1 and half month for vaccination, but my baby was suffering from fever and also cold. So, I skipped the vaccination. Then from hospital they called me on January 5 to complete the vaccination process. I told them that it may be risky as it has fever and cough. They asked me to go to the Rampada sub-centre centre and after confirming from the that nothing will happen to my baby, the vaccination was done. But on the next day, light fever came to my baby and I immediately took precaution and took my baby to Bisramganj hospital. Then I brought him in Hapania’s TMC hospital but Hapania didn’t admit him as situation turned serious. Then it was brought in IGM hospital but Doctors even after much attempts could not save the baby”.
