AGARTALA, Feb 15 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday said that Tripura is a more economically developed state than Assam, UP and Bihar and the growth rates prove so.

He claimed that Tripura’s growth rate is more than maximum states of India and on the top 5 list now.

CM was addressing in deworming day programme when said so.

He further mentioned such words as “growth rate”, “SOP”, “GDP” “Economic Zone” like words were unknown to Tripura but due to BJP Govt’s economic boost, these terms are introduced whereas in last years only Central Deprivation was alleged.
