AGARTALA, Feb 14 (TIWN): CPI-M MLA Nirmal Biswas on Friday slammed the BJP Govt for its dividing NRC, NPR like policies which are likely to cost Rs. 54,000 crores.
Biwas said that when the Government doesn’t have funds to reduce employment, it is ready to spend funds for those dividing rules.
He was addressing in an Anti-CAA, Anti-NRC protest rally at Khowai when said so.
Nirmal Biwas said, “When nationally such crisis is going on, in Tripura statewide mafia-raj has been established. Nobody can talk, nobody can express thoughts, no opposition party office can be opened, in such a suffocating situation this state is reeling”.
“Public now started raised questions to the Govt, when BJP Govt has almost completed 2 years”, he said adding, “Where are 50,000 Govt jobs according to Vision Document ? Now CM is asking youths to open paan shops”, he added.
