AGARTALA, Feb 14 (TIWN): Coping with Poverty points to the survival strategies of the poor, CPI-M’s indigenous wing Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP) has sought “double ration” in the ADC areas.

Amid Govt’s claim to enough MGNREGA works given to the poor, ground reports are not matching the claims. Across Tripura poverty, hunger are alleged.

In such situations, ADC areas in high demands of more ration. Recently a massive rally conducted at the Agartala city by GMP with 18 points of demands and one of them was “Double Ration” for the ADC areas.
