AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) appeared to be heading back to power again in Delhi with the party leading in 55 seats of the 70 and the BJP ahead in 17 as votes for assembly elections were counted, according to Election Commission figures. The counting of votes is taking place at 21 centres across the city. What interesting is that social media users are celebrating AAP’s victory although this party does not have any existence in state. It proves massive anti-incumbency against the BJP Govt in Tripura.
The exit poll results for Delhi Assembly elections have predicted a clean sweep for Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi. If Kejriwal wins the election this year, it would be a hat-trick for his party which had managed to win 67 seats in the 2015 polls. Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari predited that all the exit polls will be proven wrong on 11 February. “All these exit polls will fail. Please save this tweet. The BJP will form the Delhi government with 48 seats. Please don’t blame Electronic Voting Machines then," Tiwari had tweeted. Delhi voted for the 70-member legislative Assembly on Saturday, 8 February.
