AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Assam Rifles (COB Khowai) facilitated Free Medical Health Camp and conducted lecture on Anti Drugs Abuse, Anti Malaria, Anti Alcohol & Anti Corona Virus at Gournagar, Khowai Dist on 11 Feb 2020 from 1000 hrs onward with an aim to promote healthy and disease free environment .
A total no of approx 325 locals from remote locations were given med assistance and medicines during the medical camp. Assam Rifles has been assisting the civil administration in extending basic medical facilities to the people in remote areas.
Medical camp was joined by Dr. Saiphali Subba(Dentist), Dr. Sailo Debbarama(MO), Shri Manas Chakraborty (Lab. Tech.) and Shri Dipankar Chakraborty (Lab Attendent) from Khowai Dist Hospital.
The camp also aimed at furtherance of bonhomie relationship between Assam Rifles and locals. This humane and selfless gesture of Assam Rifles was appreciated by all.
