AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): Acting on specific information the 21 Assam Rifles conducted a raid and seized huge contraband items from 79 Tilla in Agartala Tripura.

During the raid conducted by the team of Assam Rifles a total of 54 cubes of brown sugar, 106 yaba tablets and cash Rs 21,000 was seized.

The Assam Rifles also arrested one Parthajit Ghosh (40), resident of Nandan Nagar area. Later, he was handed over to NCC police station.

The amount of the seized contraband items is estimated to be over Rs 1 lakh in market price.
