AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s statement about what type of patients should come to GB like big Govt hospitals is too controversial.
He said while addressing in a Doctors' meet at Muktadhara auditorium, when a patient is serious or multiple organs are not working, then only s/he come to GB hospital.
First of all, GB’s condition is pathetic and generally with multiple organ failure patients sent to private hospitals. GB Doctors hardly keep such patients.
Also any patient of local area goes to the nearest hospital first and then either discharge of referred. Instead of asking for doing proper tests by GB medical staffs, CM said such patients who suffer from vomiting, stomach paining, fever should not come to GB hospital/
Question is, how a patient will understand stomach-ache is serious or normal disease symptom ?
CM asked Fever patients not to come in GB, but how to decide by patient whether he has normal fever or coronavirus ?
However, from which logic he said so, it is beyond idea. Also without testing, checking how a patient will understand s/he has a serious disease or not ?
The Chief Minister was badly trolled in social media, public calling him “mad”.
