AGARTALA, Feb 7 (TIWN): Assam Rifles organised Know Your Army Mela at Sabual Higher Secondary School, Jampai Hills, North Tripura District. Mela was aimed at spreading awareness about the contribution and role of Armed forces in Nation building and also for motivating students and younger generation to join Army and AR.
Total str of 150 including students, attended the event which included mgotivational lecture followed by weapon display and promotional videos on life in Army and Assam Rifles. The local youths were apprised about the forthcoming recruitment drive of the Indian Army.
