Fuel prices continue to remain high nationally, badly affects Tripura

AGARTALA, Feb 4 (TIWN): Diesel, Petrol prices in Agartala have been turning more volatile, as prices of crude oil have been showing a firm trend.
Even after little down, the prices of fuel remains high, Diesel : Rs. 69 and Petrol : Rs. 74.
Today’s petrol price in Agartala ₹ 73.63 (4th February 2020).
The rupee has also moved lower against the dollar, which has made petrol prices in Agartala more expensive than before.
It is hoped that the government can reduce excise duties, so as to enable rates to become more cheaper in the coming days.
Today’s diesel rates in Agartala are very sensitive to global crude prices.
Nationally also fuel prices higher but in a comparison to Delhi, Tripura’s price his more.
