Congress to go to Court as BJP Govt fails to provide 100 days MGNREGA works to Poor

AGARTALA, Jan 28 (TIWN): Congress led by former State President Birjit Sinha may go to the Court as BJP Govt has failed to provide 100 days mandays under MGNREGA.
Addressing media, Birjit Sinha said, during the UPA Govt’s time when Manmohon Singh was the Prime Minister a law was passed that Govt has to provide 100 days MGNREGA works to the rural poor people. But even after passing the law, 15 days works are not being gotten properly leading a crisis situation in the rural Tripura.
“We will discuss today whereas a case can be filed in Court or not in this regard when this is a law now that 100 days works have to be given and BJP Govt has violated the law thus”, added Birjit Sinha.
