AGARTALA, Jan 28 (TIWN): Lack of customers, high vegetable prices have hit the customers and sellers both in Tripura.
Vegetable crisis and high prices reported across Tripura with a continuous hike-maintained price tags affecting both the sellers and the consumers.
Whereas Agartala markets are dependent upon exported items at the same time semi-urban and urban areas are suffering due to lack of vegetable and high prices.
Vegetable sellers are undergoing heavy losses in Agartala due to lack of buyers.
The reason behind lack of buyers are however the extreme price of vegetables but in Gol Bazar, where price stays little down all the time, numbers of buyers are also less.
The vegetables collections are also less as the shop-keepers are unable to sell the stored vegetable items.
