AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): Along with the whole country in Tripura also various organizations, parties celebrated Republic Day. CPI party, the oldest Communist Party of India which established for Indian Freedom movement celebrated this day across state.

Today, along with the whole nation, Tripura also celebrated 71st Republic Day with full enthusiasm.Statewide colourful programmes conducted, tableaus were staged.
In Agartala Assam Rifles ground, in the presence of Ramesh Bais, the Governor of Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Deb the programme was staged.All the political parties too celebrated this day across the state. Schools, offices, institutions hoisted national flags in the morning.
The left parties including staged a human chain, called "Manab-Bandhan" on this occasion across Agartala City.
