‘40% of family incomes are spent on medicines in India’ : MLA Sudip Barman

AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): Expressing concerns about the increasing diseases in public, BJP MLA, former Health Minister Sudip Barman has said that this is not only causing problems in the families but 40% of our earning is going in the name of medicines and treatment.
He described how the Kidney related diseases are causing problems at the end of the life although Central Govt is trying to make Dialysis free of cost.
He suggested all, instead of expending in medicines, why not people give up bad food habits and lifestyles and live simple with exercises and by deleting chapters of tobacco consuming ?
