AGARTALA, Jan 24 (TIWN): Assam Rifles as part of Tribal outreach pgme conducted a Medical Camp in conjunction with PHC Unakoti at Sachindranagar village Pecharthal , District Unakoti on 24 Jan 2020.

Medical team of Assam Rifles alongwith doctors from PHC provided medical treatment and counselling to approx 1300 locals from remote villages. Interior parts of Tripura have limited medical facilities, in view of which Assam Rifles as ‘Sentinels of North East’ have been assisting the civil administration in extending basic health and hygiene services to the people in far-flung areas.
