AGARTALA, Jan 17 (TIWN): An Assembly without former CPI-M Minister, MLA Badal Choudhury was boycotted today by Leftist MLAs in protest. The MLAs demanded withdrawal of the case and also expressed resentments on lower Court's role.
Addressing media, former Education Minister, MLA Tapan Chakraborty said that his party is sorry to reject the Assembly but it was necessitated as the oldest winning MLA of Tripura is in jail in a fake case.
Tapan Chakraborty also hit the BJP Govt for its total failure to fulfill the Vision Document.
Badal Choudhury was arrested in a politically motivated case on a PWD construction work and Govt of Tripura brought tremendous mental and police tortures upon him in last 3 months during is custody, although the PWD work itself was approved by PAC.
