AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): Amid no arrest of any police officials of the West Agaratala PS, Rs. 3 lakhs have been compensated to the custodial murder victim Sushanta Ghosh’s family, who was brutally killed in West Agartala Police station, later although police claimed it a suicide.

Today MLA Dilip Das has handed-over the check to the victim’s family.

A Magisterial investigation has been ordered in the murder case, but opposition parties demanded Judicial probe or CBI. The murder was exposed as police failed to provide any CCTV footage saying, CCTV camera was off on January 11 night, the day of Sushanta Ghosh’s murder.
