AGARTALA, Jan 8 (TIWN): 24 hours strike has received massive public response in Tripura.

Vehicle services, transport system from Railways to Buses, Autos all remained shutdown.

Shops, super markets remained close along with offices and most of the banks.

Eventhough BJP backed organizations plied autos few but due to lack customers strike remained 100% successful for the trade unions.

In Tripura, government buses were plying normally but the number of private buses were very less.
