AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Jan 2 (TIWN): To counter Ex-Health Minister, MLA Sudip Barman’s upcoming rally, BJP’s Mohila Morcha held a rally in Agartala, claiming crime against women has downed in Tripura but a section is doing political intrigue against BJP.

Mohila Morcha started protest against January 3rd Sudip Barman’s rally saying, everything is alright, women are safe under Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s regime.  Mohila Morcha carried banners showing various rape and gangrape incidents of Tripura’s history but in all the ways, the BJP is doing nothing but blunder out of intolerance against free-voice and Govt criticism.

Talking to the agitators it was known that from Govt side, they were given free vehicle and asked to come here to join the rally but the subject matter of the rally was not told them. They said that Pratima Bhowmik instructed all to join the rally, who is however now admitted in hospital at Delhi. 

Few alleged, they were promised to give Rs. 1000 and also food if join the rally.

All these, created an atmosphere of amusement in the Agartala city, but sources said that there will be a massive rally tomorrow in Agartala in support of Sudip Barman who is too a BJP MLA, indeed the most popular figure of the Party, an former topmost Congress leader who made BJP’s victory successful in Tripura.
