AGARTALA, Dec 30 (TIWN): Ex-CPI-M Minister Badal Choudhury was produced before the Court today, whereas no bail petition was filed by Badal Choudhury.
Govt side advocate said that although they filed a bail petition, but ultimately no argument was done by the advocates for that on behalf of Badal Choudhury.
The reason behind this is that as the case was raised in the Magistrate Court so this court can not give any bail petition.
So Magistrate has heard both the sides and next date of hearing has been fixed on January 9, 2020.
He also said, Badal Choudhury can appear in Court or also via video conferencing the hearing can be done.
