AGARTALA, November 5 (TIWN): National Student Union of India (NSUI) state president Bapi Das along with other NSUI members submitted a deputation to the Director of TPSC, Narayan Das regarding the illegal recruitment of the Deputy Director on Tripura Public Service Commission, here today.
"We did not get any positive response from the Director. Instead of taking any action the Director said that he will forward the issue to his higher officials," Bapi said.
Bapi Das further informed that on February 3 of the recent year, TPSC had issued a notification inviting the application for the post of Deputy Director.
The above mentioned seat is reserved generally for the Scheduled Tribe candidate. But it was seen that on last September that, by issuing a notification Partha Bhattacharjee was appointed to the post.
The NSUI state cell also demanded the resignation of the Deputy Director immediately. If the Director of TPSC, Narayan Das did not take any step regarding the issue we will go for further agitation, Bapi said.
