AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): Police have allegedly removed banners for Sudip Barman’s January 3rd rally in Agartala, a local newspaper has reported.
Earlier, BJP reportedly has warned its party workers, not to join the rally called by Sudip Roy Barman on January 3rd which has termed as apolitical and voice for women when law and order periled in the state and numbers of rapes, crimes against women in rise.
BJP MLA, Ex-Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman’s rally is apolitical, will have no connection with any political purpose, a statement by Barman stated.
Now, public eyeing for the upcoming rally and its strength led by Sudip Barman.
The rally will proceed on 3rd January from Agartala Rabindra Bhawan premise at 11 am and Sudip Roy Barman has called all sections of people to join the protest and raise voice against Crime against Women.
The BJP MLA has called for a protest against nationwide increasing rapes and crimes against women. The MLA is BJP’s sacked Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman (he was terminated after questioning on Law & Order), stated, one can not sit at home anymore keeping silence and in mute-mode as times for patience have crossed. He has announced a massive protest on 3rd January 2020 demanding ‘safety for women’.
He said, it should be New Year resolution that no woman should remain unprotected.
