AGARTALA, November 3 (TIWN): The West District and Sipahijala District Udbastu Unnayan Committee on Monday moved to place their 3 points charter of demands to the Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha at the civil secretariat, but they were not allowed to proceed inside the secretariat, resulting them to show a protest infront of the secretariat gate, here today.

The 3 points charter of demands consists of – to support the refugee families attacked by the terrorists, rehabilitation for the refugees, to provide Rs. 5 lakhs to the refugee families.

Since the year 1998 to 2000 the refugees were attacked by the militants several times which created havoc in their life.

And the matter is carried to the CM and his ministers, different block BDO, SDM and DM, and moreover several times they have staged mass demonstration and hunger strike but they have received only a  hope till today.

On August 29, 2014 and October 29, 2014 the Udbastu Unnayan Committee met with the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar where CM asked them to finish the matter with the Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha.
