Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday attacked the Centre over the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill or CAB. He also slammed those supporting the bill, which he said is an attempt to destroy the foundation of India.
"The #CAB is an attack on the Indian constitution. Anyone who supports it is attacking and attempting to destroy the foundation of our nation," Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
Earlier, his sister and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra came down hard on the bill and indicated that CAB threatens the freedom for which "our forefathers gave their lifeblood".
