'Northeast to be Drug free by 2022', claims Tripura CM

AGARTALA, Dec 7 (TIWN): Amid increasing drug-tracking in Tripura and ruling party leaders’ chief involvement, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Saturday while addressing at Northeast festival at Agartala said that Northeast will be made drug-free by 2022 and Govt is working in this direction.
CM said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has asked Northeast CMs to set target to decrease drug-trafficking and thus Govts started working in this direction.
Deb said earlier, Northeast Chief Minister met each other hardly but today per week they are meeting each other which itself a positive outcome.
