UDAIPUR, Nov 28 (TIWN): State Congress leaders led by leader Subal Bhwomik, Rajeswar Debbarma, today visited Pitra where a housewife was gangraped on November 21 brutally.

Meeting the gangrape victim, addressing media, Subal Bhowmik said that Tripura has become such a state where in 1 day 11 murders/unnatural deaths take place. Crime on women are day by day increasing throughout the state.

“Across the state, there is no work, food and hunger and poverty have gripped the state, but Chief Minister Biplab Deb is busy to attend various functions. If MGNREGA’s works are done, wages are not given. Law and order is getting collapsed day by day and housewives are burnt with a sharp rise of domestic violence”, said Subal Bhowmik.
