AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): Assam Rifles organised cleanliness drive as part of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and ‘Tree Plantation’ at COB Teliamura, District Khowai on 20 Nov 2019. The event was aimed to sensitise the local populace about the importance of clean & healthy surroundings as also importance of preservation of ecosystem. 50 locals including children participated in the cleanliness and plantation drive, during which 60 saplings were planted.

The contribution of Assam Rifles towards propagation of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and Green Tripura Drive was appreciated by all concerned.
