AGARTALA, Nov 19 (TIWN): Voicing against various lawless situations in Tripura, Congress held a massive protest in Agartala today.

The protest was shown under a torch procession led by top Congress and Youth Congress leaders.

Addressing media, Congress leader Subal Bhowmik said that BJP has pushed the state into a civil war.

He said, “Congress has decided to rescue the state and its democracy anyhow without fearing the fascist Govt. We are ready to give blood but unready to compromise”.

Congress’s protest was also a part of recently BJP Yuva Morcha led sudden attack in front of the Congress Bhawan and burning of Rahul Gandhi’s effigy before the Congress Bhawan.
