AGARTALA, Nov 9 (TIWN): Illegal bar ‘Hotel Heaven’ was seized by Excise dept today at Agartala in a joint driver with Excise dept.

The seize was held at first floor of Metro Bazar, whereas the present manager of the restaurant Saikat Bhwomik said that he took permission from West Agartala Police Station for a party within time limits of 10 pm.

Saikat Bhowmik said also that although he took permission but police didn’t give any written receipt for it.

Saikat further said, “My fault was to serve drinks to them, which is not legal I know”.

A source alleged that BJP top leaders are in the ownership of the hotel.

BJP Yua Morcha 21 no-ward's winner Ratul Dey is the owner of the illegal bar under the patronage of BJP MLA Ram Prasad Pal, said a source.
