AGARTALA, Nov 9 (TIWN): Petrol price in Agartala was seen more than Delhi’s petrol price and going equally with metro cities.

Petrol prices in Agartala have been turning more volatile, as prices of crude oil have been showing a firm trend. Today’s petrol price in Agartala Rs. 73.21 (6th November 2019), whereas Delhi’s petrol price has been recorded at Rs 72.60.

Remember, petrol and diesel prices are revised daily, so you can lose much, if you are travelling on a long distance.

The rupee has also moved lower against the dollar, which has made petrol prices in Agartala more expensive than before, added by excise duties.

According to the Indian oil website, petrol was selling at -- Rs 72.60/litre, Rs 75.32/litre, Rs 78.28/litre and Rs 74.45/litre in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, respectively. Diesel rates in these metropolitan cities were -- Rs 65.75/litre, Rs 68.16/litre, Rs 68.96/litre and Rs 69.50/litre respectively.
