AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): In a political attack in Garji of Udaipur Gomati District, one person was critically injured, hospitalized.

The injured person has been identified as Bidesh Ghosh, a member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

The brutal attack came upon Bidesh Ghosh after he joined a party rally protesting against police’s torture on former PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury.

On Thursday one more person was injured who is physically challenged named Sujoy Saha. He is an employee of the PWD. Another Samir Majumder  was too attempted to be beaten inside the office itself.

After being informed by the SDM, DM sent huge force to control the situation but it has been alleged that in front of police, the force came out of that office.
