AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday has met HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhrival and discussed state issues.According to Govt source, CM sought more funding for SSA and the Minister too approved.

“CM has urged the HRD Minister to increase the approved amount of Rs. 87 crores to Rs. 123 crores under SSA”, an official said.

2 new Kendiya Vidyalayas at Udaipur and Dharmanagar were also placed in appeal before the Union Minister.

He also sought approval of Navodoya Vidyalaya at Pecharthal and Regional Institute of Education in Agartala.

The Minister approved all requests of Tripura CM and orders immediate action on the approval.
