KAILASHAHAR, Sep 27 (TIWN): Police in Kailashahar, Unakoti District in Tripura detained 2 persons under NDPS after huge stocks of contrabands were seized from their custody.

Police informed, the raid was conducted at midnight by Kailashahar police and Assam Rifles 21 Battalion.

The joint force raided in Atikul Rahman’s home in Kanakpur and detained 2 persons.

One is the house owner Atikul Rahman and another is Debojyoti Bhattacharjee.

Rs. 2.39 lakhs of cash also seized with contrabands, syringe etc along with the accused drug-smugglers.
