AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): After a gap of few months, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has reopened his “Janata-Durbar†which is used by public as a mean of communication directly with the Chief Minister.
CM Biplab Deb today chosen Damchara in the North Tripura which is poverty gripped and indigenous populated mostly.
Along with the Deb high Govt officials, DGP A K Sukla remained present.
It was often seen that public are utilizing this Janata Durbar to place their demands, tell CM about their problems, agonies and to expose various systematic faults or corruptions under the system to which CM directly can never reach out if not informed.
Huge numbers of public have met CM and department-wise complains and demands were noted.
From various departments officials were accompanying CM to ease the Janata Durbar.
Deb also sought public cooperation and communication with the local elected people, leaders so that systematically works are done in speed.
From farmers to victims of various deprivations met him today. Officials were instructed to solve the problems of people at the fastest manner.
“At Janata Durbar, we listen to public grievances and try to resolve at the earliest.I am delighted that people are coming in good numbers and cooperating with us”, CM tweeted.
